1.1.8 Deleting packages from relay systems
A relay system temporarily stores the package files to be transferred to each managed computer. Because these packages are not deleted until the time specified in Package expiration at the relay system in the Packager, disk space might become a concern if packages are allowed to accumulate on the relay system. If a relay system runs out of disk space, relaying of jobs will terminate with an error during job execution. In this scenario, use one of the following methods to delete unnecessary packages from the relay system:
-
Execute a Batch delete packages on relay system job on the managing server
The Batch delete packages on relay system job deletes all the packages stored in the relay system that is the target of the job.
-
From the managing server, select packages on the relay system and delete them
You can use Remote Installation Manager on the managing server to delete unnecessary packages from a relay system. For details about how to do so, see 7.4.5 Deleting packages on the relay system.
