Format

sleep seconds

This command suspends execution for a specified period of time.

seconds: Specifies the amount of time in seconds that execution is to be suspended. If a non-numeric value is specified, the command's usage is displayed.

Return code	Meaning
`0`	Normal termination
`1` or greater	Error termination

Suspend execution for five seconds.
