2.3.2 Uninstalling JP1/Advanced Shell (Windows only)

(1) Uninstalling JP1/Advanced Shell manually
This subsection explains how to uninstall JP1/Advanced Shell. You uninstall JP1/Advanced Shell - Developer in the same manner.
To uninstall JP1/Advanced Shell:

Log on as a user with an administrator role to the Windows machine on which JP1/Advanced Shell has been installed.

Terminate all programs. If you are using the user-reply functionality, stop the services of JP1/Advanced Shell and then unregister them.

Place in the CD-ROM drive the CD-ROM that contains JP1/Advanced Shell.

Enter required information as instructed by the installer, and then select Maintain Program.

In Program Maintenance, select Delete.

When the Finish dialog box is displayed, click Finish.
Uninstallation is completed.

If there are any unneeded files, such as spool, trace, and debugging information files, delete them.
If you were using the user-reply functionality, after JP1/Advanced Shell has been installed, delete the adapter command configuration file used for the user-reply functionality that has been set up for JP1/Base.
