Appendix C. List of Processes

This appendix lists the processes of PFM - Agent for Service Response.

For details about the processes of PFM - Manager, PFM - Web Console, and PFM - Base, see the Appendixes in the manual Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management Reference.

The following table lists the processes of PFM - Agent for Service Response. The value in parentheses following each process name is the number of instances of that process that can run concurrently.

jpcagtv.exe(1) Process of the Agent Collector service. One instance of this process is started for each PFM - Agent for Service Response.
jpcsto.exe(1) Process of the Agent Store service. One instance of this process is started for each PFM - Manager and each PFM - Agent.
jpcvieprobed.exe(5) #1 IE Probe Daemon. Five instances of this process are started for each PFM - Agent for Service Response.
esprobed.exe(1) Probe Daemon. One instance of this process is started for each PFM - Agent for Service Response.
jpcviemd.exe(1) Process for controlling a system tray button and the IE Probe Daemon process to start, scheduling IE scenario measurement, and outputting the reports.
espsvc.exe(1) Probe Daemon service process; performs communication between Probe Daemon and Windows service control manager. One instance of this process is started for each PFM - Agent for Service Response.
jpcviesvc.exe(1) IE Probe Daemon service process; performs communication between IE Probe Daemon and Windows service control manager. One instance of this process is started for each PFM - Agent for Service Response.
stpqlpr.exe(1)#2 Process for executing a backup or export of the Store database.
