The following shows the procedure for applying the task definitions to the IE Probe Daemon and the Probe Daemon by using PFM - Web Console.
| Value of IE Probe Status | Status of the service |

| Active | The IE Probe Daemon is running, or stopping. |
| Inactive | The IE Probe Daemon is stopped, or starting. |
| Unknown | Failure to acquire the status of the IE Probe Daemon. |
| Reloading | The IE Probe Daemon is reloading the settings. |

| Deleted | The deletion of the settings is not yet applied to the IE Probe Daemon and the Probe Daemon. If you change the properties of the tasks of this status, the changes are invalid and not applied. You cannot add the task of the same ID until the status becomes Applied. |

| Initial | A new task is created, but you do not specify the values and not click the OK button yet. |

| Invalid # | One or more specified values of the properties are invalid. |

| Valid | All required properties are specified correctly, but the settings are not yet applied to the IE Probe Daemon and the Probe Daemon. |
