I/O Wait Time

Overview

The I/O Wait Time alarm monitors the percentage of time during which the processor was waiting for I/O (average value for each processor). If the percentage of time during which the processor is waiting for I/O is greater than the threshold, I/O operations, such as updating a database, might be delayed.
