D. Files and Directories

This appendix describes for each OS the Performance Management files and directories.

The following are the installation directories for Performance Management, depending on the program and the OS.

Installation directory for PFM - Manager, PFM - Agent, PFM - RM, and PFM - Base

In Windows:

Performance Management can be installed in any folder.^# The default folder is as follows:

• For Windows Server 2003 (x64), the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012:

  system-drive\Program Files (x86)\Hitachi\jp1pc\

• For other OSs:

  system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\jp1pc\

Any installation directory can be selected only in the case where no Performance Management is already installed.

In UNIX:

/opt/jp1pc/

Installation directory for PFM - Web Console

In Windows:

PFM - Web Console can be installed in any folder. The default folder is as follows:

system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\jp1pcWebCon\

• For Windows Server 2003 (x64) and the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008:

  system-drive\Program Files (x86)\Hitachi\jp1pcWebCon\

• For other OSs:

  system-drive\Program Files\Hitachi\jp1pcWebCon\

In UNIX:

/opt/jp1pcwebcon/
