5.1 Transferring job operation information
The following describes how to manually transfer information about job operations (job operation information files) collected on JP1/AJS2 - Manager and JP1/AJS3 - Manager hosts to the host that outputs the job operation information to a document (machine with JP1/AJS3 - Print Option installed).
- When JP1/AJS2 - Manager and JP1/AJS3 - Manager are on a Windows host:

Copy the information between networked computers using Windows Explorer

Use a floppy disk or other storage media

Send the information as an email attachment

- When JP1/AJS2 - Manager and JP1/AJS3 - Manager are on a UNIX host:

Transfer the information using FTP commands

The information must be transferred in ASCII mode. If you transfer the information in binary mode, documents based on the information will not be output correctly.
By using JP1/File Transmission Server/FTP, you can manage the history of file transfers and automate the file transfer process.
