This situation occurs because the common definition information has not been set yet. Check whether the settings are correct.

For cluster operation: Check whether the logical host name specified in the argument of the system management command is correct. Also check whether the logical host name specified in the JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable is correct. Also, setup for cluster operation as described in either of the following manuals is required: Job Management Partner 1/Base User's Guide or Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide 1. Make sure that one or the other has been performed.
Operation other than cluster operation: Check whether the JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable was set at system startup. You cannot start the physical host if JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable has been set. If JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable has not been set but this message still appears, uninstall JP1/AJS3 and then re-install it.
