The manager IP address for the host name might have been changed.

The probable causes are:

  1. If automatic startup of the JP1/AJS3 service is set, the IP address for the manager host name was allocated to the NIC after the JP1/AJS3 service started.

  2. If the Windows MediaSense feature is enabled, the IP address was changed due to a temporary network problem.

Take one of the following actions according to the cause of the error:

  1. Make sure that the IP address for the manager host name has been allocated to the NIC, and then restart the JP1/AJS3 service.

    In Windows, you can set the JP1/Base service startup delay time to adjust the time when the service starts. See the explanation of the order in which the services are started and terminated in the Job Management Partner 1/Base User's Guide.

  2. Correct the network problem, and then restart the JP1/AJS3 service.
