An execution generation that is the target of the operation was not found.: unit-name

When a unit under a jobnet registered for release is specified

The generation of the specified unit determined by automatic judgment or by registration number was not found.

For details about how to specify generations, see 4.5.13 Methods of specifying generations when executing commands in the manual Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Overview.

When a unit under a planning group is specified

You executed a command on an active unit automatically selected from under a planning group, but the target generation could not be found.

The probable causes are as follows:

  • When executing the ajsplan command, there is no unit to execute for the next time.

  • When executing the ajskill, ajsintrpt, ajschgstat, or ajsrerun command, there is no unit that has started execution.

The target generation was lost during command processing because of one of the following reasons:

    1. The target generation was deleted because the number of logs to keep was specified.

    2. The execution has stopped.

    3. The target generation was unregistered.

Use the following methods to execute commands on automatically selected units:

  • Execute the command with yes or auto specified for the -X option and specify the unit name with the root jobnet name omitted under the planning group.

  • Execute the command with YES or AUTO specified for the AJSAUTOJUDGE environment variable and specify the unit name with the root jobnet name omitted under the planning group.

  • Execute the command without the -X option or the AJSAUTOJUDGE environment variable specified, and specify the unit name with the root jobnet name omitted under the planning group.

(S)

Cancels command execution. If you specify more than one unit, the system continues processing of the units of the other jobnets.

(O)

Check the status of the target unit, and then re-execute the command.
