ajsovremove

Description

Removes the registration files associated with the HP NNM.

The following files are removed:

• Application management file

• Field definition file

• Trap action definition file

• Trusted command definition file

• Extended MIB definition file (UNIX only)

Execution privileges

In Windows: Administrators privilege

In UNIX: Superuser privilege

Notes

• Execute the ajsovremove command on the monitoring host (where NNM is installed) and the monitored host (where JP1/AJS3 is installed)

• When unlinking from NNM on a Solaris host, do not execute the ajsovremove command without first setting the setup language that you set when you executed ajsovsetup command for the HP NNM in the LANG environment variable.

• When you execute the ajsovremove command in UNIX, MIB definition information for JP1/AJS3 is removed from the extended MIB definition file. To invalidate this definition information, you must restart the SNMP agent.

Additional information

The ajsovsetup command takes no arguments. Any arguments you specify are ignored.
