14.3.3 Specifying for displaying names and comments

You can specify how to display the names and comments in the map area of the Main Scope window and the Sub Scope window.

Procedure

To specify for displaying names end comments:

1. In the Main Scope window, choose Options and then Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog box appears.

2. In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Window page.

   The Window page of the Preferences dialog box appears.

3. Specify Name new line.

   Specify whether to break a name into multiple lines according to the number of characters it has.

   When having selected Selected, you need to specify the number of characters to begin a new line for Characters per line.

4. Specify Display comments.

   Specify whether to display the comments in the map area.

   When having selected Yes, you need to specify the number of characters for a comment to be displayed for Displayed characters.

   Not to display the comment of some object, select the head character of the comments not to be displayed for Hide comment when.

   To display a comment in multiple lines, select the character for breaking lines for New line character.

5. Click the OK button.

   The Preferences dialog box is closed. The specification takes effect when the Preferences dialog box is closed.
