14.2.2 Specifying the trace level
You can specify the level of the information to be output to the log file.

Specification
To specify the trace level:

In the Main Scope window, choose Options and then Preferences.
The Preferences dialog box appears.

In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Other page.
The Other page of the Preferences dialog box appears.

Select the level of information to be output to the log file for Trace level.
You can specify the following items:

Trace level 1
Outputs to the log information about errors that occur.

Trace level 3
Outputs information about errors that occur and information to find out how the user has used the log.

Trace level 5
Outputs information about errors that occur. This information helps to find out how the user has used the log and what data was sent to the log.

Specify the upper limit of the log file with Max. log file size.

Click the OK button.
The Preferences dialog box is closed. After the Preferences dialog box is closed, the specification is enabled.
