13.7.2 Login operation
Suppose that the JP1/AJS3 Console Agent (JP1/AJS3 - Manager) host to be monitored is in the same user authentication bloc as the JP1/AJS3 Console Manager host that you have logged in, at start of JP1/AJS3 - View from JP1/AJS3 Console View. You can display the JP1/AJS3 - View screen without displaying the Login screen.
In the following cases, the Login screen appears and you need to enter the JP1 user name and the password:
-
The user authentication bloc of the JP1/AJS3 Console Manager host and that of the JP1/AJS3 Console Agent (JP1/AJS3 - Manager) host to be monitored are different.
-
The JP1 user that logs in to the JP1/AJS3 Console Manager host has not been registered to the authentication server of the JP1/AJS3 Console Agent (JP1/AJS3 - Manager) host to be monitored.
-
The JP1 user that logs in to the JP1/AJS3 Console Manager host has not been mapped to the OS user in the JP1/AJS3 Console Agent (JP1/AJS3 - Manager) host to be monitored.
Additionally, at start of the Jobnet Monitor window, if the monitoring target is a remote jobnet, you need to perform the login operation in the following cases:
-
The JP1/AJS3 Console Agent (JP1/AJS3 - Manager) host to be monitored and the host that will execute the remote jobnet are not in the same user authentication bloc.
-
The JP1 user that logs in to the JP1/AJS3 Console Manager host has not been mapped to the OS user in the host that will execute the remote jobnet.
At start of the Jobnet Monitor window, if the monitoring target is a remote jobnet, you may have to login twice.
