13.3.2 Monitor status

The monitor status, which indicates the monitor status of the root business scope, is determined based on the status of all the monitored hosts (JP1/AJS3 Console Agents) indicated by the monitored objects that were defined for the root business scope. The following table shows the monitor statuses.

JP1/AJS3 Console Manager requires each JP1/AJS3 Console Agent to monitor the execution status of the application.

JP1/AJS3 Console Manager requires each JP1/AJS3 Console Agent to stop monitoring the execution status of the application.

Stopped Monitoring

Each JP1/AJS3 Console Agent stops monitoring the execution status of the application.

Refreshing Status

JP1/AJS3 Console Manager requires each JP1/AJS3 Console Agent to acquire the latest status of the application.

The following figure shows the transition between the monitor statuses.

The monitor status changes when you perform the following operations in JP1/AJS3 Console View:

Switch from monitoring mode to definition mode:

The monitor status changes from Monitoring to Stopping Monitor. The monitor status changes to Stopped Monitoring when the monitoring on all JP1/AJS3 Console Agents stops. You can switch the mode to definition mode only when the monitor status is Monitoring.

Switch from definition mode to monitoring mode:

The monitor status changes from Stopped Monitoring to Starting Monitoring. The monitor status changes to Monitoring when the monitoring on all JP1/AJS3 Console Agents starts. You can switch the mode to monitoring mode only when the monitor status is Stopped Monitoring.

Click Refresh:

The monitor status changes from Monitoring to Refreshing Status. The monitor status returns to Monitoring when all JP1/AJS3 Console Agents have reported the latest status. You can click Refresh only when the monitor status is Monitoring.

When the monitor status is Starting Monitoring, Stopping Monitor, or Refreshing Status, you cannot switch the mode or click Refresh.
