3.4.5 Evaluating the work folders for target devices

When a file-forwarding plug-in or content plug-in runs on a UNIX device, a work-folder area is allocated on the target device, and then a file forwarded to the device is stored directly below the work-folder folder as shown below.

The file is forwarded if either of the conditions shown below exists. The forwarded file is deleted when the plug-in terminates.

If the OS of the target device is UNIX, the default work-folder is /tmp/Hitachi_AO, which can be changed by the user.

To change the default work-folder, specify a new folder name in the plugin.remoteCommand.workDirectory.ssh key of the property file (config_user.properties).

However, if the OS of the target device is Windows, you cannot change the work folder, and the configuration of the work folder containing the files to be forwarded is also different.
