Take corrective action based on the reason.

  • Reason: An error occurred because a service is not running.

    Make sure that the IM database service is running, and then restart JP1/IM - Manager.

  • Reason: A connection error occurred.

    The system may be temporarily unable to acquire a connection or to use a connection. If the error is not resolved by restarting JP1/IM - Manager, collect JP1/IM data, and then contact a system administrator.

  • Reason: A system error occurred.

    Determine whether the port number assigned to the IM database service is being used by another product.

    If another product is using the same port, specify a unique port number for the IM database service. If another product is not using the same port, or the error cannot be resolved by reassigning the port number, collect JP1/IM data, and then contact a system administrator.
