Figure 2‒70: Conditions for Updating List of Action Results window

[Figure]

The following describes the items displayed in the Conditions for Updating List of Action Results window.

Update method

Specifies whether to refresh the List of Action Results window automatically or manually.

If the Update automatically radio button is selected, the window is refreshed automatically. The user specifies the refresh interval in minutes in the Interval text box. The range of specifiable values is from 1 to 1,440. The default is 1.

If the Update manually radio button is selected, the window is refreshed manually. When manual refresh is selected, the Interval text box is disabled.

The default is Update manually.

Updated contents

Specifies which action execution results are to be acquired. One of the following four types can be selected:

Most recent action results

Selecting this radio button acquires the results of the most recently executed actions. The number of action execution results to be acquired is specified in the Num. to display area.

Specified action serial number

Selecting this radio button and specifying the action serial number acquires the execution results of the action with the specified action serial number. After entering the serial number, the user selects Before or After from the drop-down list to specify the range of actions to be displayed. A value from 1 to 2,147,483,647 can be specified as an action serial number.

Selecting Before from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions preceding (and including) the specified action. If Before is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the preceding execution results starting with the most recent results.

Selecting After from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions following (and including) the specified action. When After is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the subsequent execution results starting with the oldest results.

The number of action execution results to be acquired is specified in the Num. to display area.

Specify the event-registration time

Selecting this radio button and specifying the time that the JP1 events were registered in the event databases on the event-issuing hosts acquires the execution results of the actions that are registered within the specified timeframe.

The user enters the base time, and then selects either Before or After from the drop-down list.

Selecting Before from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions registered before (and at) the specified time. If Before is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the previous execution results starting with the most recent results.

Selecting After from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions registered after (and at) the specified time. If After is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the subsequent execution results starting with the oldest results.

The number of action execution results to be acquired is specified in the Num. to display area.

Specify a time in YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss format. The time you specify must be within the time range that corresponds to 1970/01/01 00:00:00 GMT to 2038/01/19 03:14:07 GMT in the default time zone of the machine.

For example, on a machine whose time zone is set to GMT+9 (Japan), you can specify a value in the range from 1970/01/01 09:00:00 to 2038/01/19 12:14:07.

Specified event arrival time

Selecting this radio button and specifying the time that the JP1 events arrived at the local server acquires the execution results of the actions for which JP1 events arrived at the local server within the specified timeframe.

Selecting Before from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions for which JP1 events arrived before (and at) the specified time. If Before is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the previous execution results starting with the most recent results.

Selecting After from the drop-down list acquires the execution results of the actions for which JP1 events arrived after (and at) the specified time. If After is selected, JP1/IM - View acquires the subsequent execution results starting with the oldest results.

The number of action execution results to be acquired is specified in the Num. to display area.

Specify the time in YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss format.

Multiple hosts, business group names, and monitoring group names can be specified. The maximum of the total number of names that can be specified is 100. To use a comma (,) or backslash (\) as an ordinary character, prefix a backslash (\) as an escape character. That is, to use a comma (,), enter \,. To use a backslash (\), enter \\. Line breaks and tabs cannot be used. Character strings specified in path format are treated as business group names or monitoring group names. However, if the integrated monitoring database and the IM Configuration Management database are disabled at the time of login to JP1/IM, the names specified in path format are treated as host names.

Alphanumeric characters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), periods (.), and commas (,) can be entered in the text box, although the commas (,) can only be used as separators.

For details about the statuses that can be selected in this area, see the table under the description of the Log area in 2.35 Action Log Details window.

If Ended is selected, the condition for selecting return codes can also be selected from 0, Not 0, and All.

These actions are displayed in the List of Action Results window when the Canceled status check box, the Included radio button, and either one or both of the Canceling and Miss check boxes are selected.

When the Not included radio button is selected, the actions for which cancellation is in progress and the actions for which cancellation failed are not displayed.

The default is Not included.
