2.5 Tool Launcher window
The Tool Launcher window is used to start related programs, such as JP1 programs.
Any of the following operations displays the window:

In the Event Console window, the user chooses Tool Launcher from the Options menu.

In the Monitoring Tree window, the user chooses Tool Launcher from the Options menu.

In the Event Console window or Monitoring Tree window, the user clicks the button on the toolbar.
The Tool Launcher window cannot be displayed in Web-based JP1/IM - View. The following figure shows an example of the Tool Launcher window.
The following describes the items displayed in the Tool Launcher window:
- Toolbar

Provides buttons for operations that are frequently used in the Tool Launcher window. Toolbar buttons are displayed only if the corresponding products are installed.

Starts Network Node Manager, and displays a window for HP NNM version 7.5 or earlier.

Starts Windows Remote Controller, and displays the JP1/Remote Control Manager window or the JP1/Software Distribution window.

Starts the resource and distribution management function, and displays the JP1/Software Distribution Manager window.

The functions that can be started are displayed in a tree structure. When the user double-clicks a program icon in the tree, the corresponding program window appears.
