5.3.3 Changing an additional severity changing definition to a severity changing definition

To change an additional severity changing definition added during system operations to a severity changing definition:

1. From the menu in the Event Console window, select Options and then Severity Change Definitions to display the View Severity Change Definitions window.

2. In the View Severity Change Definitions window, select the additional severity changing definition (for which an icon is displayed in the Type column) you want to change to a severity changing definition.

3. Click the Change Copy button.

4. A confirmation message appears. To apply the settings, click Yes.

   The additional severity changing definition you selected is changed to a severity changing definition.

5. In the View Severity Change Definitions window, click the Apply button.

6. A confirmation message appears. To apply the settings, click Yes.

   The severity changing definition you added takes effect.
