Job Management Partner 1 Version 10 Job Management Partner 1/Integrated Management - Manager Configuration Guide

8.1.1 Enabling calling the JP1/IM - Service Support window

To enable the Select the process work board as the registration target window of JP1/IM - Service Support from JP1/IM - View to be called, you must edit the definition file for manually registering incidents (incident.conf). This file is managed by the JP1/IM - Manager (JP1/IM - Central Console) which you log in to from JP1/IM - View. Note that you must also specify the same settings when you call the Select the process work board as the registration target window of JP1/IM - Service Support from Web-based JP1/IM - View.

To enable calling the JP1/IM - Service Support window:

  1. Edit the definition file for manually registering incidents (incident.conf). (You can use a program such as text editor.)

  2. Specify the settings so that the port number specified for SS_URL= in the definition file for manually registering incidents (incident.conf) allows communication through the firewall.

Specify the settings to allow access through the firewall from the JP1/IM - View machine to the JP1/IM - Service Support machine.

  3. Execute the jco_spmd_reload command or restart JP1/IM - Manager.

  4. Log in to JP1/IM - Manager (JP1/IM - Central Console) from JP1/IM - View again.

The defined settings will take effect.

The URL used to call JP1/IM - Service Support can have a maximum of 2,046 characters. When the incident registration mode is set to 2, the length of a message that can be passed is shorter than when the incident registration mode is set to 1 because the event ID is also passed. If the message is garbled, copy and paste the message that is displayed in the Detailed event information window to JP1/IM - Service Support.

For details about the definition file for manually registering incidents (incident.conf), see Definition file for manually registering incidents (incident.conf) in 2. Definition Files in the manual Job Management Partner 1/Integrated Management - Manager Command and Definition File Reference.
