6.8 How to update published Operational Content
Users who have Content Manager or Content Editor permission can update Operational Content. The tasks that can be performed with Content Manager permission and Content Editor permission are different as follows:

Updating Operational Content:
To update the Operational Flow or guide area, either Content Manager or Content Editor permission is required.
To publish Operational Content: Content Manager permission is required.

Renaming Operational Content:
Content Manager permission is required.

If the editing environment and execution environment are the same, users become able to use Operational Content as soon as the Content Manager finishes publishing the Operational Content.
If the editing environment and execution environment are different, first the Content Manager publishes Operational Content in the editing environment. Then, the system administrator exports the Operational Content data from the editing environment, and imports the data into the execution environment. Users become able to use the Operational Content when import to the execution environment finishes.
