2.10 Searching in Operational Content
The Search tab in the Operational Content Execution Window enables you to search Operational Content information by using keywords.
The following are examples of how you can use the search function for convenience:
-
Quickly searching for Operational Content you desire to execute
When you search Operational Content with a keyword related to an operation, multiple pieces of Operational Content that involve the keyword are displayed in a list. This can save time searching in the menu area.
-
Searching multiple pieces of Operational Content to check that character strings have been corrected without fail after a correction of a character string was made
Search Operational Content for the original incorrect character string and for the correct character string. Then, check that the original (incorrect) character strings are not hit, and that the same number of character strings are hit by both searches (before and after correction). By this method, you can confirm whether a character string was corrected successfully.
The following describes how to search Operational Content:
-
In the menu area in the Operational Content Execution Window, select the Search tab.
-
Enter the keyword in the search keyword text box.
If you enter multiple search keywords, delimit them by a single-byte space or double-byte space. You can enter a maximum of 10 search keywords.
-
If necessary, specify the type of search, and the order in which the search results are sorted.
You can specify the search type and sort order by using the following radio buttons:
-
AND/OR search radio button
-
Sort order radio button
-
-
Click the Search button.
The search results are displayed in the lower area of the Search tab.
- Cautionary note:
-
If a search keyword causes many hits (resulting in a lot of information being displayed in the search result area), your web browser might slow down.
