- Methods that begin with get are referred to collectively as getXXX methods.
- Methods that begin with set are referred to collectively as setXXX methods.
- Methods that begin with execute are referred to collectively as executeXXX methods.
- This manual uses the notation DataSource-type interface to represent the following interfaces generically:
- DataSource
- ConnectionPoolDataSource
- XADataSource
