(1) Function

Displays the HiRDB version information.

 pdadmvr [-s|-c]
 

(4) Options

(a) -s

Specifies that the coding following the revision number is to be displayed as the version information. The following shows an example of the version information display:

(b) -c

Specifies that information about the character code classification is to be displayed, in addition to the information displayed when no option is specified or the -s option is specified.

(5) Rules

  1. The pdadmvr command can be executed at any time, whether or not HiRDB is active.
  2. The pdadmvr command must be executed at each server machine.

(6) Notes

  1. When the pdadmvr command is executed, return code 0 indicates normal termination, and return code 8 indicates abnormal termination (such as an invalid option).

The display format depends on the option specification:
  • When no option is specified
    Information through the revision number is displayed.
    Example: 09-00
  • When the -s or -c option is specified
    Information through the code following the revision number is displayed.
Example: 09-00-01
3 Object-Option Object-Option is always displayed.
4 HiRDB addressing mode 64bit is always displayed.
  • 64bit: 64-bit addressing mode
5 HiRDB internal information POSIX is always displayed.
6 HiRDB internal information --
7 Character code classification
  • sjis: Shift JIS Kanji codes
  • chinese: EUC Chinese Kanji codes
  • chinese-gb18030: Chinese Kanji codes (GB18030)
  • utf-8: Unicodes
  • lang-c: One-byte character codes
8 No-Staticizer-Option No-Staticizer-Option is always displayed.
9 Whether HiRDB External Data Access is installed#1
  • No-Exd is always displayed.
10 Whether HiRDB Advanced High Availability is installed
  • Advanced-High-Availability: Installed
  • No-Advanced-High-Availability: Not installed
11 Whether the HiRDB Advanced Partitioning Option is installed
  • Advanced-Partitioning-Option: Installed
  • No-Advanced-Partitioning-Option: Not installed
This information is the same as regardless of whether HiRDB Advanced High Availability is installed, because the HiRDB Advanced Partitioning Option is included in HiRDB Advanced High Availability.

  • Non-Recover-FES: Installed
  • No-Non-Recover-FES: Not installed

#1: This item is displayed for a HiRDB/Parallel Server, but is displayed for a HiRDB/Single Server only when the -c option is specified.
