This appendix describes the code mapping for special characters.
The code conversion supports the Windows special characters, IBM selected characters, and NEC-selected IBM extended characters as special characters provided by vendors. To use the IBM selected characters and NEC-selected IBM extended characters, you must define the user mapping.
