cjsetup -d server-name

This command sets up the environment of J2EE servers with specified names.

This command creates the default user definitions for J2EE servers set up in the following directory:

• In Windows
  Cosminexus-installation-directory\CC\server\usrconf\ejb\server-name\
  
• In UNIX
  /opt/Cosminexus/CC/server/usrconf/ejb/server-name/
  

When the -d option is specified, the J2EE server environment (directories and files) shown below is deleted:

• In the storage directory for user-definition files
  
  • In Windows
    Cosminexus-installation-directory\CC\server\usrconf\ejb\server-name\
    
  • In UNIX
    /opt/Cosminexus/CC/server/usrconf/ejb/server-name/
    
• In a temporary work directory
  
  • In Windows
    Cosminexus-installation-directory\CC\server\repository\server-name\
    
  • In UNIX
    /opt/Cosminexus/CC/server/repository/server-name/
    
• In the work directory (default)
  
  • In Windows
    Cosminexus-installation-directory\CC\server\public\ejb\server-name\
    
  • In UNIX
    /opt/Cosminexus/CC/server/public/ejb/server-name/
    
• In the storage directory for Web applications (default)
  
  • In Windows
    Cosminexus-installation-directory\CC\server\public\web\server-name\
    
  • In UNIX
    /opt/Cosminexus/CC/server/public/web/server-name/
    

For the work directory and storage directory for Web applications, the directories and subordinate files are deleted if a value other than the default value is specified in the ejb.public.directory key of the usrconf.cfg user definition file.

server-name

Specifies the server name of the J2EE server that is to be set up or unset up.

You can use single-byte alphanumeric characters (0-9, A-Z, or a-z), the underscore (_), and the hyphen (-) in the server name. The first character must be an alphanumeric character. You specify the server name within 255 characters and with the length that you estimate by referencing Appendix C.1 Work Directory of J2EE server in the uCosminexus Application Server System Setup and Operation Guide.

If the server name is omitted, the host name is assumed. However, the server name cannot be omitted for unsetup processing. In addition, if the host name contains a character that cannot be used in server names, an error occurs.

-d

Specifies that the environment of the J2EE server is to be deleted. You cannot omit the server name.

0:

The command terminated normally.

1:

The command terminated abnormally.

• To execute the cjsetup command in UNIX, you must have root permission (if Component Container Administrator is not set) or Component Container Administrator permission (if Component Container Administrator is set).
• When you unset up (cjsetup -d server-name) in UNIX, all directories and files for deletion will be deleted regardless of their access permission settings and usage status.
• If the name of a server that has already been set up is specified and reset up (cjsetup server-name) is executed, an error occurs.
• When you specify the server name in the command arguments during unset up, you must specify a case-sensitive character string that matches with the server name specified during set up. In Windows, however, server names are not case sensitive. If a character string is specified in cjsetup that is the same as the name of a server that has already been created except for differences in case, the command operates as follows:
  
  • For setup (cjsetup server-name)
    Setup fails.
    
  • For unsetup (cjsetup -d server-name)
    The command deletes the server that has already been created and matches server-name except for the differences in case.
    
• When you specify the server name as an argument and execute the server management commands and the start or stop command for the J2EE server, you must specify a case-sensitive character string that matches the server name created using the cjsetup command.
• Do not execute unsetup (cjsetup -d server-name) for the running J2EE server.
• In Windows, do not execute unsetup (cjsetup -d server-name) to delete a target file that has the read-only attribute or is being used.
