1.1 Classification of functionality

Application Server is a product used for building an environment for executing applications mainly on a J2EE server compliant with Java EE 6 and for developing the applications that run in the execution environment. You can use a variety of functionality, such as functionality compliant with Java EE standard specifications and functionality independently extended on Application Server. By selecting and using functionality according to the purpose and intended use, you can build and operate a highly reliable system having an excellent processing performance.
