11.2.1 Configuration of the Packaging window

Figure 11-2 shows the configuration of the Packaging window.

The Packaging window is for specifying a minimum set of information necessary for packaging. Depending on the software type selected as Package type in the common settings area, the items displayed in the package-specific settings area vary. The menus and buttons are the same for both cases.

Table 11-1 describes the menu options of the Packaging window. Table 11-2 describes the functions of the buttons.

File New Resets the window to the initial status. New
Open Displays the information stored in the packaging-information file. --
Save Overwrites the information for packaging displayed in the window. --
Save As Saves the information for packaging displayed in the window with a new name. --
Exit Exits from the GUI for packaging. Exit
Execute Packaging Executes packaging using the information displayed in the window. Execute
Help Version Displays the version information of JP1/Software Distribution Client --

Legend:
--: There is no applicable button.

Details Displays the Packaging Details dialog box to set detailed information for packaging.
