Description

  1. Activates JP1/Software Distribution Client.
  2. Performs planned termination of JP1/Software Distribution Client.

Options

-p
This option specifies the planned termination of JP1/Software Distribution Client. Planned termination means that when a job currently executed (job received by the distribution-destination system) ends, the system terminates JP1/Software Distribution Client.

End code

End code Meaning
0 Command processing terminated normally.
255 An attempt to activate or terminate JP1/Software Distribution Client failed.

Notes

If you activate JP1/Software Distribution Client with a remote shell, no prompt returns until you terminate JP1/Software Distribution Client.
