rdsstrrcv

The rdsstrrcv command recovers the temporary package storehouse.

Description

  1. Initializes the temporary package storehouse and then recovers backup packages created by the rdsstrbkup command into the storehouse.
  2. Recovers some of the backup packages created by the rdsstrbkup command into the temporary package storehouse.

Format

  1. Initializing the temporary package storehouse and recovering backup packages into the storehouse
    rdsstrrcv input-file-name
  2. Recovering a backup package into the temporary package storehouse by specifying its package ID
    rdsstrrcv input-file-name{-a|-sfull-package-ID
    [full-package-ID...]}
    -wworking-directory[-F]

Options

-a
Recovers all backup packages into the temporary package storehouse. If a package with the same ID as its backup exists in the storehouse, its recovery is not executed.

-F
Forcibly recovers backup packages into the temporary package storehouse even if a package with the same ID as its backup exists in the storehouse.

-sfull-package-ID ~ ((1 to 63 characters))
Specify the full package ID of a package you want to recover. If a package with the same ID as its backup exists in the storehouse, its recovery is not executed. Note that all resources containing the character string of the specified full package ID become the recovery target. The maximum number of full package IDs that you can specify at one time is 10.

-wworking-directory ~ ((1 to 128 characters))
Specify a directory into which JP1/Software Distribution Client temporarily saves the backups of packages during recovery processing. When you specify the -a or -s option, always specify the -w option.

input-file-name
Specify the name of a special file or the absolute path of an ordinary file that stores backup packages to use the file for recovering the temporary package storehouse.

End code

End code Meaning
0 Terminated normally.
1 Terminated abnormally.
