Job Management Partner 1/Software Distribution Client Description and User's Guide
The rdssnd command sends the result of job execution.
Description
This command sends the result of execution of distribution and file collection jobs on your own UNIX machine and a lower-level distribution-destination system to the managing server or a relay system specified for ManagingHost in the settings file.
Format
rdssnd[-q]
Option
- -q
- Specify this option if you want to stop the processing of the rdssnd command. When you issue this command with the -q option specified during remote installation (or remote collection), JP1/Software Distribution Client stops processing after completing the remote installation (or remote collection). When you issue this command with the -q option specified during an interval before monitoring, JP1/Software Distribution Client stops processing after the interval time elapses.
Notes
- Because JP1/Software Distribution Client automatically executes the rdssnd command when a relay system starts operation, it is usually unnecessary to use this command. Set a period of intervals of monitoring the result of distribution and collection for WatchTimeofStatus in the settings file.
- When you want to send the result of distribution and collection after stopping this sending, re-execute the rdssnd command.
- If you have specified a host file when entering the command for remote installation, JP1/Software Distribution Client also uses the host file when sending the result of distribution. Keep the host file saved until JP1/Software Distribution Client has completed the sending of the result of distribution.
