8.1.3 Notes on using automatic actions

This subsection shows the points you must remember when using automatic actions.

• Before using an automatic action, start the event server and the remote manager, and the automatic action facility of JP1/IM - Manager.
• You cannot perform an automatic action when the system starts or when the system terminates.
• You cannot perform an automatic action for the following messages:
  
  • Response-required messages
  • KDDM0527-E
  • KDDM0528-E
  • KDDI0104-E
  • KDDI0105-E
• You cannot use an automatic action if an error occurs while you are using the generator tools to install user data or a user program.
• If JP1/Base is not active on the system where you want to use the automatic action, client services output the following message; however, client services continue processing:
  

  KDDM0527-E: Could not connect the event server.

  or
  

  KDDI0104-E: Could not connect the event server.
