6.9 Setting the system files

System files must be set to execute the following processing using the client services of JP1/Software Distribution Client:

• Starting JP1/Software Distribution Client automatically
• Stopping JP1/Software Distribution Client
• Installing packages at system startup
  To execute this process, you must start JP1/Software Distribution Client before the distributed software starts.
  
• Installing packages at system shutdown
  To execute this process, you must stop JP1/Software Distribution Client after the distributed software has stopped.
