Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Linkage Guide
Assume that Client Manager of JP1/Software Distribution Client and JP1/AJS3 - Manager are active at the package-distributed destination host.
To automatically distribute the package using JP1/Software Distribution:
- Make sure that the name of the target host has been defined in the hosts file of the distributing host.
- Execute the following command to display the package information:
The package information output in the following format after the command is executed is called a resource.
directory-storing-JP1/Software-Distribution-commands/rdsdmrsc -c
When the packaging is performed on a Windows host:
D.cabinet-ID.package-ID.version-number.generation-number
When the packaging is performed on a UNIX host:
C.cabinet-ID.package-ID.version-number.generation-number
- Execute the following command to generate an instruction:
directory-storing-JP1/Software-Distribution-commands/rdsdmind -d -a distributed-host-name -s distributing-resource-name- Execute the following command to execute the instruction:
