2.4.4 Sample shell script for a mail filter application

JP1/AJS3 provides a sample shell script for a mail filter application that converts a character code. This shell script converts only the character code of the received email text; it does not decode MIME or other encoding.

The name of the file is /opt/jp1ajs2/tools/converter.

Note that the sample shell script converts email to different character codes depending on the OS:

• When the OS is Solaris: JIS to EUC
• When the OS is other than Solaris: JIS to Shift-JIS
