9.2 Notes on JP1/AJS3 host settings

Note the following points when setting up hosts to run JP1/AJS3:

Use JP1/AJS3 only in an environment where the IP address can be resolved from the local host name; otherwise; JP1/AJS3 will fail to start.

If you execute a command using a character-code set different from that of the JP1/AJS3 service, depending on the command executed, messages in both character-code sets will be output to the integrated trace log.

You cannot specify a directory or file on an NFS-mounted disk as the directory or file that JP1/AJS3 is to reference or store created files in. Operation when a directory or file on an NFS-mounted disk is specified is not guaranteed.
