Organization of this subsection
(1) Notes when there are different versions of JP1/AJS - Manager and JP1/AJS - View
(2) Notes on using new functionality of JP1/AJS - Manager

(1) Notes when there are different versions of JP1/AJS - Manager and JP1/AJS - View

(a) Notes on monitoring the jobnet's end delay for the time-required-for-execution

(b) Notes on the end status of event jobs after the timeout period expires when "Timeout period" and "Status after termination" are defined

When JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier and JP1/AJS - View 07-00 or later coexist, and JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier connects to JP1/AJS - Manager 07-00 or later, JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier cannot display Status after termination for the event jobs defined in JP1/AJS - View 07-00 or later.

Therefore, if you use JP1/AJS - View 07-00 or later to execute an event job with Timeout period and Status after termination defined, and use JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier to check the result after the timeout period expires, Status after termination specified in JP1/AJS - View 07-00 or later is not displayed.

Example: When the status after termination is normal:
  1. JP1/AJS - View 07-00 or later is used to define an event job, specifying Timeout period and setting Status of termination to Ended normally.
  2. When using JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier to check the event job, Status after termination is not displayed.
  3. When the event job is executed using JP1/AJS2 - View 06-71 or earlier and the timeout period expires, the end status is displayed as Ended normally.

(c) Notes on using planning groups

When JP1/AJS2 - View 06-51 or earlier connects to JP1/AJS - Manager 06-71 or later, the JP1/AJS - View displays planning groups as job groups, thus allowing you to change or delete unit definitions.

When a planning group is displayed as a job group, you can specify it as a unit referenced by the manager job group. A lower root jobnet can be specified as a unit referenced by the manager jobnet. However, there are the following restrictions on planning groups displayed as job groups:

(d) Notes on using a jobnet connector to control the execution order
