Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Configuration) Guide
The table below describes the environment settings for executing queueless jobs.
Consider what values to set in the parameters, referring to the criteria and recommended values given in 2.7 Setting up the queueless job execution environment in the Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide 2.
Table 7-12 List of execution environment settings for queueless jobs
Setting description and parameter Criterion for changing the setting Recommended value When the setting takes effect Relevant product Queueless job log folder
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_LOGFILE
There is no particular need to change the setting. Decide the folder location according to your disk space estimates and operating environment. Use the default. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Log file size
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_LOGSIZE
Log files are used for checking job execution. Specify a size large enough for at least one day's worth of log entries. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Status file name
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_STATFILE
There is no particular need to change the setting. Decide the file location according to your disk space estimates and operating environment. Use the default. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Status file size
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_STATSIZE
The status file allows job statuses to be managed at the manager side if the scheduler service that requested a queueless job fails during its execution. Set this parameter for higher reliability. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Maximum number of concurrent jobs in the queueless agent service
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_JOBMAX
Set this parameter if you have resource constraints and need to limit the number of queueless jobs that can be executed concurrently. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Maximum number of waiting jobs in the queueless agent service
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_JOBWAITMAX
Set this parameter if you expect the peak number of active queueless jobs to exceed the maximum number of concurrent queueless jobs. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Whether to use the user profile settings (Windows only)
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_LOADUSERPROFILE
Set this parameter if the user information set for the OS user's logon session is required for executing PC jobs. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A Work path and temporary file directory for the queueless agent
- Environment setting parameter:
- AJSQL_AGTWORKPATH
Set this parameter if you want to change the work path and temporary file directory used for queueless jobs. Set according to your operating environment. When the JP1/AJS3 Queueless Agent service is restarted M, A
