Job Management Partner 1/Integrated Management - Manager GUI Reference
Note the following about performing operations in windows:
- Operations from the keyboard are guaranteed only for the keyboard shortcuts that are explicitly displayed in windows. Whenever possible, use the mouse to perform operations in windows.
- JP1/IM - View does not redraw any windows while it is querying JP1/IM - Manager. If a window is moved or is behind another window, the information displayed in the window might become temporarily garbled. However, the window will be redrawn correctly when the query is completed.
- Multibyte characters and specific character codes may be displayed incorrectly or may not be handled as the indicated characters or as character codes. For the specific character codes, see Table 1-1 Character codes that might be handled incorrectly.

- Before restarting a connected host (JP1/IM - Manager), make sure that JP1/IM - View is disconnected from the host. The user can log in again to JP1/IM - View when the host is restarted.
- On rare occasions, the window display might be garbled when an operation is performed in the window. Performing the operation again might correct the problem.
- If a command that outputs large amounts of data is executed from the Execute Command window or by an automated action, output of data from the next command might be delayed.
- While using Web-based JP1/IM - View, do not display another page in the Web browser. In addition, do not use the Web browser's Back, Next, and Refresh buttons. Using these buttons will cause Web-based JP1/IM - View to operate incorrectly.
- To log in again from Web-based JP1/IM - View, terminate the Web browser, restart the Web browser, and then log in.
- In Web-based JP1/IM - View, the caption Java Applet Window is displayed at the bottom of the Event Console window and all windows that open from the Event Console window.
