List of ODBC key fields

Some ODBC key fields are common to all records, and some are specific to individual records. This section presents the ODBC key fields common to all records. With PFM - Manager, ODBC key fields are required in order for you to use SQL statements to access record data stored in the Storage database.

The table below lists the ODBC key fields that are common to all records. For details about the ODBC key fields specific to individual records, see the details for each record.

record-ID_DATE	SQL_INTEGER	Internal	Key in the record that indicates the record creation date
record-ID_DATETIME	SQL_INTEGER	Internal	Combination of the record-ID_DATE and record-ID_TIME fields
record-ID_DEVICEID	SQL_VARCHAR	Internal	Indicates one of the following: instance-name[monitored-host -name@PFM-RM-host-name] instance-name[all@PFM-RM-host-name]
record-ID_DRAWER_TYPE	SQL_VARCHAR	Internal	Type. Valid values are as follows: m: Minute H: Hour D: Day W: Week M: Month Y: Year
record-ID_PROD_INST	SQL_VARCHAR	Internal	Instance name of PFM - RM for Platform
record-ID_PRODID	SQL_VARCHAR	Internal	Product ID of PFM - RM for Platform
record-ID_RECORD_TYPE	SQL_VARCHAR	Internal	Identifier indicating the record type (4 bytes)
record-ID_TIME	SQL_INTEGER	Internal	Record creation time (Greenwich mean time)
