5.5.1 Setting procedure

To read manuals from the PFM - Web Console Help:

  1. To register PFM - Agent or PFM - RM to PFM - Web Console (or perform an additional setup for PFM - Agent or PFM - RM), follow the PFM - Web Console setup procedures.

  2. In the host where PFM - Web Console is installed, create a folder for the manual to be copied.
    • For Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management Planning and Configuration Guide
      PFM-Web-Console-installation-folder\doc\en\pcsy
    • For Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management User's Guide
      PFM-Web-Console-installation-folder\doc\en\pcop
    • For Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management Reference
      PFM-Web-Console-installation-folder\doc\en\pcre
    • For the PFM - Agent or PFM - RM manual of JP1/Performance Management
      PFM-Web-Console-installation-folder\doc\en\XXXX
      XXXX indicates a help-ID of PFM - Agent or PFM - RM. For details on help IDs, see the ID list in an appendix of each PFM - Agent or PFM - RM manual.

  3. Copy the following files and folders from the manual CD-ROM to the folder you created in step 2 above.

    For HTML manuals:
    All HTM files and the FIGURE folder under CD-ROM-drive\MAN\3020\manual-number (e.g. 03004A0D)

    For PDF manuals:
    PDF files under CD-ROM-drive\MAN\3020\manual-number (e.g. 03004A0D)
    When you copy the manuals, make sure that the index.htm file (for a HTML manual) or the actual PDF file (for a PDF manual) is located directly under the folder you created. For details on how to copy the manual files, see the readme.txt file stored in the manual CD-ROM.

  4. Restart the PFM - Web Console.

(2) To read manuals from your computer hard disk

Use setup.exe in the CD-ROM to install the manual, or directly copy the HTM, PDF, and GIF files to a desired folder. For HTML manuals, make sure that the files are located in the following folder configuration:

html (HTM files are stored here)
 |- FIGURE (GIF files are stored here)
