Job Management Partner 1/Performance Management Planning and Configuration Guide
You must delete the service information displayed by the jpctool service list command in the following cases:
- When PFM - Agent or PFM - RM is uninstalled.
- When PFM - Manager for the connection destination is changed
- When the host name of PFM - Manager, PFM - Agent, PFM - RM, or PFM - Base was changed after starting the operation
If you have deleted the service information of the Action Handler service, you are no longer able to execute alarm actions using that Action Handler. Therefore, reset the Action Handler service that executes alarm action.
You can delete service information by using the jpctool service delete command. If communication is impossible because of physical reasons, such as when the LAN cable is disconnected from the PFM - Agent host, you cannot delete the service information normally. In this case, to forcibly delete service information, specify the -force option.
To delete service information:
- Log on to the host where PFM - Manager is installed.
- Execute the jpctool service delete command by specifying the service ID of the service you wish to delete.
For example, to delete the information on the Agent Store service of PFM - Agent for Oracle on the host02, specify as follows:
jpctool service delete -id OS* -host host02- Restart PFM - Manager.
- Restart the PFM - Web Console.
