The following table describes the notes on remote installation.

Classification Notes New installation Update installation
Windows When you perform a remote installation for the component software of each product, make sure you implement remote installation for the product before you perform remote installation for the component software. The remote installation of the component software is implemented according to the specified product installation destination. Y Y
Depending on the specification, the installation destination for a new installation is as follows:

If both drive and path are omitted (default value is used)
The name-of-drive-where-system-is-installed:\Program Files\Hitachi\Cosminexus directory is created, and the product or component software is installed.

If the drive is specified
The \Program Files\Hitachi\Cosminexus directory is created in the specified drive, and the product or component software is installed.

If the path is specified
The product or component software is installed in the specified path.
 Y --
In version 05-00 or later, update installation is performed in the same directory as the installed product. In version 05-00 or later is not installed, you cannot perform an update installation. -- Y
