Appendix F. Process Information

The table below lists the resident JP1/Remote Control process. When monitoring processes, use this information. The number in parentheses after the process name is the number of processes that can be executed concurrently.

Process name Function
dmrcagnt(2) The main process activated by the service

You can use the service monitoring function of JP1/Performance Management/SNMP System Observer. When you use this function to monitor the JP1/Remote Control service installed on a Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0 computer, specify the monitoring conditions based on the following information:

Name of the application to be monitored
JP1/Remote Control Agent (service)

Name of the service to be monitored
Remote Control Agent
