The terms used in JP1/Software Distribution manuals have been made consistent.
Notes have been added that apply if a new installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client that uses an installation set has failed.

(3) Changes in version 08-51

Windows Server 2008 has been added as an applicable operating system.
The installation set can be created independently of the operating system of a machine on which the installation set is to be created.
A description of the dminst.exe.manifest file contained in the installation set for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista has been added.

(4) Changes in version 08-10

JP1/Software Distribution Administrator Kit can now be used in Windows Vista.
Information necessary for controlling a client by using AMT can now be set during creation of an installation set.

(5) Changes in version 08-00

Along with the change of the organization of products, descriptions have been added and changed.
Memory requirements for Client Tool have been changed.

(6) Changes in version 07-11

The descriptions of the memory requirements and disk requirements for JP1/Software Distribution Administrator Kit have been changed.
Overwrite installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client is now possible. Accordingly, the part that must be edited in the batch file has been changed.
The user can now enable the settings of the job execution options for JP1/Software Distribution Manager by specifying a file listing the user information items for collection.
By creating and executing a batch file, the user can now install JP1/Software Distribution Client 07-00 or later in an environment that contains a Windows 95 client machine.
Return codes that are displayed during execution of Client Tool have been added.

(7) Changes in version 07-00

Windows Server 2003 has been added to the applicable operating systems. Windows NT 4.0 has been deleted from the applicable operating systems.
The Integrated CD-ROM without a defined password has been added to the media that can be used for creating an installation set.
Installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client is now possible even if the higher connection destination is not yet determined.
The method of uninstalling JP1/Software Distribution Client has been changed. This method is applicable when uninstalling JP1/Software Distribution Client without using Add/Remove Programs is specified in the installation set.
