When you use an installation set for a CD-ROM, perform the following procedure.
To execute Client Tool in an installation set for a CD-ROM:
- Insert the CD-ROM containing the installation set into the drive.
- Execute dminst.exe in the installation set.
When you execute dminst.exe, the installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client begins. Note that the Specify Connection Destination dialog box is displayed during installation only when you select Specify when installing Software Distribution Client in the Connection Destination page in creating the installation set. When this dialog box is displayed, determine the higher connection destination according to the instructions in the dialog box. When the installation of JP1/Software Distribution Client is completed, a completion dialog box is displayed and it disappears automatically after a while.
