When you store an installation set on an FTP server in the network, you need to specify the information about the FTP server and the transfer of the installation set. You can make these settings in the FTP page. Note that the system only displays this page when you select For FTP server in the Installation Set Type dialog box.

The components of the FTP page are as follows.
Specify the server name of the FTP server. This setting is required. No FTP server name is specified by default.
Specify the name of the directory where you store the installation set. You can specify no more than 255 characters. This setting is required. No directory name is specified by default.
If the specified directory does not exist, the specified directory is automatically created when the installation set is transferred. If you want to store the installation set in a directory in a hierarchy, delimit directories using \.
Specification examples are as follows:
DM_INST
DM_INST\Sub01
Specify the name of the user who has the download account for the FTP server. This setting is required. No user name is specified by default.
Specify the password of the user who has the download account for the FTP server. This setting is required. No password is specified by default.
Use this check box to specify whether to transfer an installation set to the FTP server after you create the installation set. When you select this check box, the system transfers the installation set to the FTP server. This check box is not selected by default.
Specify the name of the user who has the transfer account for the FTP server. This setting is required when the Transfer the created installation set to the FTP server check box is selected. You cannot specify a user name when the Transfer the created installation set to the FTP server check box is not selected.
Specify the password of the user who has the transfer account for the FTP server.
