7.7 Notes on using action jobs

The following provides precautions (items you should know in advance) for using action jobs.

Cautionary notes
  • You cannot specify a User name in an action job. For details, see the cautionary notes for each type of action job.
  • Action jobs are affected by the concurrently executable job limit that JP1/AJS3 imposes. If you attempt to execute more jobs on the agent host than the limit allows, the jobs are placed in Waiting to execute status.
